Yezenia Vargas, LCSW

My name is Yezenia Vargas.  I am a bilingual English and Spanish Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience working in the field of social work. After receiving a Masters in Social Work from UC Berkeley, I worked for the County of San Diego where I interacted with a diverse population of people and gained extensive knowledge on the foster care and Court system.

 I am trained in a modified version of DBT and EMDR.  My areas of focus include working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, Autism, anxiety, depression, anger, and grief.  I am a strong believer in the benefits of coping skills and self-care.
