About Christina Imada, LPC
Hello, my name is Christina (Tina) Imada. I am an Asian American trauma-informed therapist with over 3 years of experience working with clients of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I began my clinical experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and seniors moving through grief and the process of death and dying in a hospice setting.
I then transitioned into supporting adult males with addiction, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma-based disorders in both individual and group settings.
I have received training in EMDR, DBT, Narrative, and Mindfulness-Based treatment as well as education on Dementia and Cognitive Impairment.
I specialize in working with adult and aging clients to support a wide variety of issues related to trauma, performance anxiety, self-image, self-compassion, grief and loss, cognitive impairment, generalized anxiety, depression, and addiction.
My hope is to create a safe and trusting environment where clients can feel comfortable and free of judgment as they move through life’s difficulties
