Life is messy, feelings are complicated, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer to our struggles. The one constant in healing is connection. That is why I focus primarily on building relationships with my clients first and foremost and tailoring our treatment with that in mind.

Hello! My name is Abigail Brown (she/her). I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I work with adults, adolescents, children, and families. I obtained my Undergraduate Degree in art therapy and Psychology from Marywood University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. I have experience in treating a wide range of issues, from depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, disordered eating, suicidality, and self-harm. I have background knowledge regarding the education system, 504 plans, and IEPs. I am great at advocating for you or your child’s unique needs. I use creative arts counseling methods, play therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, harm reduction, ACT, and mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR.

I emphasize normal conversations, a non-judgmental stance, humor, and an opportunity to consider different perspectives. I look forward to meeting you not only as a client but as a person.
