About Christina Oliveros, LMFT
Hello, I’m Christina Oliveros, a Mexican-American therapist with 4.5 years of experience working across Residential, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient settings. I began my clinical journey at UCSD Internal Medicine Clinic, where I supported individuals and couples facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, addiction, and interpersonal challenges.
I later expanded my practice at a trauma recovery center, providing individual, group, and trauma therapy to adult women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. I worked with issues such as trauma, attachment and personality disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and dissociative disorders.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.
I believe that the relationships we cultivate with ourselves and others are central to our well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, healing space where clients feel supported in connecting with themselves and navigating life’s ebbs and flows.
