About Amanda Russell, LCSW

My passion is helping women achieve their optimal mental health so they can live a life without barriers and find confidence in the women they are created to be. My clinical focus is helping women who have experienced trauma, or are experiencing anxiety and/or depression, but not limited to other conditions like life transitions; loss; divorce; blended family; ADHD; Autism; Bipolar, etc. I currently work with ages 13 and up and am open to working with males if I am an appropriate fit. I am a Christian and welcome anyone who desires love and acceptance. I do not project my religious beliefs unless asked and am respectful to others beliefs, opinions, and values. I have counseled individuals, couples, and families in all age groups over the past 8 years and have 26 years of experience in the social service field.

My goal is to offer a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment for you to begin to experience the change or healing you desire. I take a holistic approach to your journey through a trauma-informed approach, using a variety of methods and philosophies like Psychoanalytical theories, TF-CBT, Ego-centric, Acceptance Therapy, Attachment Theory, Brainspotting, Solution Focused Therapy, helping you identify environmental, spiritual, emotional, and physical barriers that may be preventing you from experiencing optimal mental health. My approach is done through a person-centered, strength-based lens. I participate in anonymous staff consultation with other professionals, and continuing education to ensure you are receiving the best possible care.

I look forward to meeting you!
