My name is Sebastian Shields, I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has worked in the field of counseling and therapy for the last 6 years.

I started my work with childhood trauma and abuse, transitioning to working with the general population in a Health Care setting, then moving into Substance Use treatment.

These programs and locations have provided me with an eclectic approach to therapy. Experiencing the therapeutic and developmental process from childhood to late adulthood.

I have extensive experience in substance addiction, depression, anxiety, parenting skills, family counseling, and adolescent development, as well as many others that I would be happy to talk about and explore with you.

Therapy can be an exciting and stressful time, as opening up to others may not be easy. I want to understand that with you and help provide support for your change. Being a part of the healing process is an amazing feeling, I hope to share that experience with you soon.
